Vinter’s Bar at Grill

Having a wine day at Barossa Valley is on the top of my list of favourite things to do. Over the years, I feel like we have done a pretty good job at discovering new cellar doors and finding the wine of our lives. However, despite knowing that there are some amazing restaurants in the region, we haven’t been to most of them. Perhaps we were too busy with the wine tasting.


Few weekends ago, we decided to go for a drive for a “light” wine tasting to stock up our collection, and decided to have lunch at Vinter’s Bar and Grill in Angaston. The space was set up elegantly with a good mix of timber, stones and modern table settings. We set on a table nearby a fireplace which was lovely.

We ended up ordering their two mains and three small dishes. Many of their dishes had a very slight asian touch to it and to me it worked really well as it made lot of the dishes really interesting with layers of flavours, instead of overpowering them and just turning the dishes into what can be the-awkward-asian-fusion-dishes.
