Long time ago I saw a Japanese movie called Calmi Cuori Appassionati, a love story based in Florence, and always wanted to visit Florence ever since. After having spent 4 days in Florence, both my hubby and I absolutely fell in love with the place to the point that we were saying that we would consider re-locating here only if the language wasn’t an issue. Florence was magical. It is such a charming city full of culture, history, beautiful surrounding nature, amazing food and great shopping opportunities.
Face/hydrating mists are essential part of my skin care routine. I just love how it feels so refreshing, re-hydrating and soothing. Over the years I’ve witnessed that the facial mists had evolved from simple thermal/spring waters to toner mists and essence/anti-aging sprays. I usually have couple of them handy at different spots, for various uses.

Korean cuisine is on the rise and Adelaide is certainly following the trend. Kimchi is considered as one of the ‘superfood’ with its probiotic benefits. Bulgogi and Korean BBQ would keep any meat lovers happy, any day. Bibimbap is simply deliciousness in a bowl.
As a local who enjoys Korean food (way too much) this is my list of go-to restaurants for best Korean food in Adelaide.
After having spent few days each in Rome and Florence, We arrived in Cinque Terre. It involved catching a number of connecting trains which took few hours, but it was all worth it. To be honest, I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into before I had arrived. All I was expecting was to see the picturesque view of Manarola in person, eat lots of seafood and relax with hubby whilst enjoying the small coastal towns. But, It was so much more than what I had expected and in fact, I think it was probably one of the highlights of our trip.
Few months ago, we made a last minute decision to have our holiday in Italy. Being a lover of food, wine and shopping, Italy has always been one of the countries that I wanted to visit for a long time and I was thrilled that my husband felt the same.
We quickly realized that there were too many places we wanted to visit. As we had a limited time of just under two weeks to spend and we didn’t want to spend so much time ‘in transit’, we had to narrow down our choices.
I remember when I first found out about pick-your-own fig orchard in Adelaide hills, I knew that I just had to be there. Ever since, beginning of each year, my husband and I have been to Glen Ewin Estate (or Wilabrand Fig Orchard) for a fun and relaxing day out picking (and eating lots of) delicious figs.
